The company ECO D&M s.r.o., specializing in the production of certified, ecological, iron-concrete weights for sport and recreational fishing, introduces a new product from the Eco Line range, the Eco Sinkers Safety DROPP-hard plastic insert/insert type.
The Safety DROPP continuous iron-concrete sinker is based on a proven shape for reliable retention on rough bottom relief, on edges or in strong current.
Already from the name Safety DROPP we can use this type for a drop-off system, for which the notch on the back of this type of concrete weights is used. The Drop-off system is used, for example, when fishing in obstructions or overgrown waters, for safe catching. The hard plastic insert allows for better sliding of the silicone top cap and better handling for quick transport and assembly preparation.
Weight deviation – dry condition of the product +-5g

  • The rotating parts of the standard size UK8 roller vertebra, retract inside the silicone insert (5/3mm)
  • The DROPP has a perfectly positioned centre of gravity and therefore this type can very effectively transfer the entire weight of the concrete to the hook point during the bite, thus ensuring a deeper and more effective embedment of the hook
  • The flat and oval shape allows for better weight distribution, thus reducing the sinking of the sinker into the mud and soft bottom. At the same time, the optimal weight distribution and the correct positioning of the centre of gravity allow a steady sinking in the water column without unwanted rotation and tangling of the leader, even when sinking at great depths.
  • The absorbency of the material makes it possible to sharpen or fluff up the ballast itself and thus transport more attractive flavour to the feeding point. The porosity and rougher surface in turn allows for excellent adhesion when wrapping the weight with the wrapping paste, keeping it reliably on the weight even when force-feeding. Both methods significantly increase the attractiveness of your fishing spot.

All ECO Sinkers are certified for contact with drinking water and made of a special 7-component reinforced concrete mix that is non-toxic, eco friendly and meets modern environmental regulations.

They are not harmful to humans, animals, other animals and organisms when in contact with water.

Absorption
ECO Sinkers are designed so that when soaked in water, dip, boost or other liquid they will not exceed their weight as marked on the sinker.

Volumetric properties
ECO Sinkers iron concrete ballasts have a higher volume weight per cc than other competing alternatives to conventional lead ballasts, making them smaller and well suited for use in a variety of conditions.

Certificate

ECO D&M owns a certificate for ECO SINKERS when it comes into contact with drinking water, it is not harmful for humans, animals and other living creatures and organism.

Universal Swivel

All ECO SINKERS have a universal swivel that makes it possible to attach and drop it out to any “lead clip”.

7-Components

ECO SINKERS contain a 7-component reinforced concrete mixture, which is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and complies with all environmental regulations.

Absorbency

Even the smallest weight of ECO SINKER can increase the weight by 3 grams and the heaviest weight by 15 grams. ECO sinkers are designed in such a way that after absorbing water, booster, dip or other liquid, products do not exceed the weight under which company marked them, therefore all ECO SINKERS are a few grams lighter than stated in the title, for constant weight space.

Magnetic Solution

Let’s not forget the magnetic structure though. When using a drop-off system, each angler is capable to collect and reuse ECO SINKERS nicely with a magnet.

Weight Volume

ECO SINKERS have higher weight volume per cm3 than other classic lead alternatives so the products are smaller and well-adjusted.
